Just my two cents about the fines against Xhaka, Shaqiri and Lichtsteiner.
I’m a swiss, a proud swiss, and I’m glad they get punished for what they did. Of course, Serbia, the Fans, the Medias, did awful things too and they also deserve to get punished, but what these players done was clearly a political statement and I think politics should be held out of sports.
And, also, me, and many other swiss just think it’s very, very disrespectful against our country to celebrate in such a way. They had the chance to play for the Kosova or Albania NT instead but they chose Switzerland, so please, behave like one and don’t do such things.
